Hi, I have Windows 2008 R2 Standard. I have an asp classic website set up:
64bit asp.dll
application pool is 64bit, no 32 enabled
When I run the website locally, it is super fast. As soon as I put it on the Internet, it is painfully slow, almost unusable. I have Windows 2000 server that is on the Internet (trying to replace it with the 2008 server), and it works fine.
What could possibly be wrong? Just because I switch it to the Internet it gets slow. In fact, the internal IP address that points to the website, is still fast while the Internet facing nic is slow. I do not understand what could be wrong. Nothing in the event viewer.
I would switch all to 32bit, but I don't know why it would matter if all is fast except on the Internet (and almost no traffic, so it's not getting hammered.)
Thanks for any help.
