Auth Token Not Being Passed

We have a .net app running in IIS. The app will generate an auth token and pass it on the URL. When this request traverses the ARR box, it is stripped. And I'm not sure why.

We are using ARR as a load balancer running on a dedicated server with 2008 R2 SP1 and IIS 7.5.

The web server is also 2008 R2 SP1 with IIS 7.5. The app works as expected on the web server. (Still in testing phase, only one server in the farm as of now).

We have some rewrite rules in ARR to (eventually) direct traffic to different web servers depending on requested URL. And if I pass the full URL (with token) through the Test on each rule it gives me back the token. So I don't think it's the rewrite rules causing the problem.

Then again, I'm not sure where to start looking. I have enabled failed request tracing and captured basically everything. But looking through the rewrite and redirect sections it looks okay.

I have also toggled the affinity options into a few different combinations. Even though there's only one web server in the pool right now I thought maybe as the request looped in and out it might lose "something" that affinity could fix. But that did not bear any fruit.

I then went through the proxy options in the farm settings methodically changing, testing, and changing back each setting. Still no change.

I welcome any direction to guides that might help. And/or let me know what else I can tell you that might help.
