Best Way to Check Site status Information

Hi Guys, Good day! I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to IIS administration thus would really appreciate your suggestions or better yet, your fool-proof techniques. I am currently checking one Windows 2003 server hosting 10 sites, some of which are stopped. The IT manager has ordered us to document recent changes to these sites, and one of the items that came up was to specify the date and time as to when each site was set to a stopped state. I know that you could probably find this information in the IIS logs (or the Event viewer perhaps) but was hoping you could direct me to the best way to proceed as I would really prefer not having to go through each daily IIS log and find the answers I need. Your kind assistance is highly appreciated. Thanks!
