Hello,
I'm starting to migrate my web sites from W2003R2 to W2008R2 and hence from IIS 6 to IIS 7.5. I used to manage my IIS 6 instances from the local client on my PC and have configured IIS 7.5 to enable Remote Administration. In doing so I have selected Windows Users as the authentication method, but I think that this may enable any IIS savvy user on my domain to gain access to the server.
Is there a way I can restrict the administration of the IIS server (not specifically web sites) to an AD group?
Thanks,
Mike
